Working Out

I went out tonight and ran a mile! Yeah for me! I then worked on my arms with my weights.
I really really need to do some crunches, but I am so tired right now. I actually think I'm going to get ready for bed before midnight tonight! Hopefully I will not wake up at 3:30 a.m. like I did today or 4:30 a.m. like I did yesterday. It's too darn quiet in the house when I'm up that early. Although I'm sure I could think of something to do during those quiet times!

Old Fashioned Potato Salad

This is for everyone who loved loved loved my potato salad at Aunt Sandra's and Uncle Billy's cookout.

5 potatoes
3 eggs
1/4 t garlic powder
1/4 t celery salt
1 T prepared mustard
ground black pepper to taste
1/4 C mayonnaise

1. Rub oil on potatoes. Puncture them with fork. Place in zip lock bag and puncture holes in the bag as well. Heat in microwave for approximately 10 minutes.
2. Cool potatoes. Peel and cube.
3. Place eggs in a saucepan and cover with cold water. Bring water to a boil; cover, remove from heat and let eggs stand in hot water for 10 to 12 minutes. Remobe from hot water, cool, peel and chop.
4. In a large bowl, combine potatoes, eggs, garlic powder, celery salt, mustard, black pepper and mayo. Mix together well and refrigerate until chilled.


** I also added fresh onion chives that I am growing. :)

The real recipe called for relish, chopped onions and chopped celery, but Wayne dislikes all of those so I discarded those items. But even so, it turned out wonderful!!! Hope you make it and enjoy! Let me know how it turns out for ya!

Insomnia

Insomnia has a major hold over me tonight.... I am wide awake, but then it could be because I went running at 8:00 tonight. Probably was not a smooth move on my part, but I was energetic and ready to go after seeing my photos.

Photos

Although I enjoyed myself immensley at Aunt Sandra and Uncle Billy's last night, after seeing photos of myself, I was completed apalled! It's one thing when I get dressed and try to look cute, I look in the full length mirror and think to myself, "yeah, you're hot". Well, after seeing actual photos of myself, I now absolutely know that I need to lose weight..... A LOT of weight!!! I lost 5 lbs within the past 2 weeks, but you can't tell.

So tonight I ran a 1/2 mile. I have to start out slow or I'll kill myself and not want to do it anymore. I ran in the rain tonight. I love the rain so it did not bother me or Jake. I then came home and lifted weights and worked on my legs. Tomorrow it will be cardio again and working on my arms. I am determined to look GOOD again!!! And I plan on consuming tons of water! I've been drinking it all day. Therefore, I've been to the potty at least 50 times today.

I definately plan on looking good for Sarah and Danny's wedding in early June!!! I need to wear a cute sundress since I'm the official photographer, everyone will be looking at me so I must be at my best! :)

I will post pics as I get smaller. No bikini pics as I do not want to scare anyone!!!!

Flower Girl Dress Day

Today Riles and I went on a shopping escape along with Aunt Sandra, Aunt Lynn, Jessica and Bride-to-Be, Big Sarah. We found the cutest Flower Girls dress for Riles to wear in Danny and Sarah's wedding. It will go really well with Sarah's gown. Sarah's gown is so pretty and springy! I love the spring! I'm so glad that it is finally here!!!! (time to get into a fake and bake!) As you will see from the photos below, Lynn found the hat department in one of the stores we went to. We had the best time playing with the hat, hand bags and umbrellas.....all while shoppers looked at us and smiled. Either they were smiling because they thought how cute it was or they thought, "awww...they brought the short bus here and let the crazies out today!" Ha Ha!!
