I actually went ahead and worked out tonight. I can feel it already. I know I'll be sore tomorrow and Saturday, but I'm not able to work out tomorrow night since I will be entertaining tomorrow night for dinner. Soon you will see skinny photos of me!! Hopefully!!!

Update

I have been MIA for a while now. I am just so busy with the summer! School is out!!! Yeah!!! I need to post photos of Danny and Sarah's wedding, our last visit to the river this weekend. There was a wicked cool thunderstorm and I was actually able to capture snapshots of lightning!!! I hope they turn out okay on my p.c.

Lauren hi-lighted and cut my hair last night! I am sooo pleased with it!!! I've never had blonde in my hair before, but it looks great and it goes wonderfully with my tan if I do not so say myself.

Tomorrow, Wanda and I are going to SNAP Fitness to check out their facilities. They're only a mile up the road so I will have no excuse to not work out. The Biggest Loser ends in 5 weeks at the office. I want to kick some major butt! We weigh in on Wednesdays and how much did I lose this week????? Drum roll please.....THREE#!!!!! Woo Hoo!!!

Cyndola if you are reading this, yes I am going to return your spackle, but in return, you must return my movie, The Saint. It's one of my favorites!!!

I watched P.S. I Love You which was recommended by Janet. Oh my God! Get a box of kleenex before hitting play on you DVD player. I laughed, cried, fell in love with the characters and cried some more. It is an awesome movie!!! Makes me want to move to Ireland.

Riley Morgan is doing okay. Still having stomach issues.....I don't know what else to do after all of the procedures and medicines she been given. It's so puzzling and frustrating at the same time. I just feel helpless as a mom.

I've joined Facebook now. I said I'd never do it, but I took the plunge. It's so cool to talk to people I went to school with. I've spoken with several people lately that I have not seen in years. It's been nice.

Well, I'm off to prepare dinner.

Bed of Roses Lyrics - Sung by Jon Bon Jovi

Bed Of Roses lyrics
(an oldie, but goodie)

Sitting here wasted and wounded
At this old piano
Trying hard to capture
The moment this morning I don't know
'Cause a bottle of vodka
Is still lodged in my head
And some blonde gave me nightmares
I think that she's still in my bed
As I dream about movies
They won't make of me when I'm dead

With an ironclad fist I wake up and
French kiss the morning
While some marching band keeps
Its own beat in my head
While we're talking
About all of the things that I long to believe
About love and the truth and
What you mean to me
And the truth is baby you're all that I need

I want to lay you down in a bed of roses
For tonite I sleep on a bed of nails
I want to be just as close as the Holy Ghost is
And lay you down on a bed of roses

Well I'm so far away
That each step that I take is on my way home
A king's ransom in dimes I'd given each night
Just to see through this payphone
Still I run out of time
Or it's hard to get through
Till the bird on the wire flies me back to you
I'll just close my eyes and whisper,
Baby blind love is true

I want to lay you down in a bed of roses
For tonite I sleep on a bed of nails
I want to be just as close as the Holy Ghost is
And lay you down on a bed of roses

The hotel bar hangover whiskey's gone dry
The barkeeper's wig's crooked
And she's giving me the eye
I might have said yeah
But I laughed so hard I think I died

Now as you close your eyes
Know I'll be thinking about you
While my mistress she calls me
To stand in her spotlight again
Tonite I won't be alone
But you know that don't
Mean I'm not lonely I've got nothing to prove
For it's you that I'd die to defend

I want to lay you down in a bed of roses
For tonite I sleep on a bed of nails
I want to be just as close as the Holy Ghost is
And lay you down on a bed of roses

Denver, CO to Richmond, VA

My dad and his wife, Judy came to visit us all the way from Johnstown, CO. We were all excited and had the best time with them!!! We enjoyed a birthday party at Aunt Sandra's for Joshua's birthday party. We had dinner at Ruby Tuesday's so that we could mingle with Heather and some of her friends. We had dinner at Dockside across the Benjamin Harris Bridge right on the water. Austin captured a pretty good shot of the sun setting over the water while we were there. The next night we gathered together at Lynn's house and we learned how to wood carve by Pop. I have to admit we all did a pretty bad job. LOL! But it was fun spending time with my dad and learning how to do something that he loves doing. Sunday we all went to Tangire Island and we took the ferry boat (McDreamy loves ferry boats mmmm....) It was such a relaxing boat ride. We all were so excited on the way over. We were buzzing about the boat the entire time. The island was nice. We had a family style lunch and then we did a bit of shopping. Everyone was pretty much tuckered out on the trip back to Reedville. Lots of folks were sleeping. I wound up reading The Shack while lying out in the sun. Afterwards, everyone came back to our home for dinner and just some plain old relaxation.

We are so glad that Pop and Judy were able to make it to VA to see all of their kids and grandchildren. We cannot wait to see them again. We already miss them very much!
